Miniature Fainting Goats

We have Miniature Silky Fainting Goats from some of the original founders of the Miniature Silky Fainting Goat Association "MSFGA", We are registered MSFGA breeders.
There are champion bloodlines within our Miniature Silky Fainting Goats, however we peronally do not show any of our animals.
There are two reasons why we decided not to enter our animals in shows;
1. The livestock usually requires being onsite for the week prior to the show
2. The possibility of introducing an undesirable condition to our herd (i.e. illness, or parasite).

The Miniature Silky Fainting Goat Association has been developing a specific "look" through selective breeding and the breed is still in development.

We have been preserving the "Myotonic" gene and though we are registered MSFGA breeders, the MSFGA have been using "Nigerian Dwarf" genes in the gene pool during their development process.

The MSFGA has developed something quite unique throughout their long development process.
Since the "Fainting Goat" gene pool no longer exists within the Miniature Silky Fainting Goat gene pool, we feel that we should classify our goats as Miniature Fainting Goats.
This is really what we have anyway, and we do not wish to appear deceiving to someone looking to aquire a Miniature Silky Fainting Goat - If that makes sense

The hair length characteristics of Fainting Goats vary and are catagorized in three distinctive lengths; Short Hair, Medium Length Hair, and Long Hair.

The Myotonic Goat Registry "MGR" accommodates the size and hair lengths of these adorable Miniature Fainting Goats of ours, however so does the "MSFGA".
The ancestors of these were registered as "MSFG", and we are proud to be registered breeders for their wonderful association.
